Our PE days are Wednesday (gym hall) and Friday (outdoors). Please ensure you child comes dressed in appropriate PE kit on both days and bring appropriate clothes for outdoor PE.

Novel Study: ‘Guardians of the Wild Unicorns’. Higher order reading skills and comprehension will be developed using ‘Reciprocal Reading’ roles and comprehension activities.
Spelling
Wraparound Spelling – New words on Monday; Practise from Tuesday to Thursday; Spelling Check Up on Friday.
Please encourage your child to complete their homework tasks. Spelling practice can be completed in any way that suits, whether written, orally or otherwise.
Writing
Revising basic full stops, capital letters and paragraphs.
Writing focus: Creative, Recount
Grammar: Using a range of Vocabulary, Connectives Openers and Punctuation.
Ask your child about their writing at home. When completing written homework tasks, encourage your child to extend their writing with detail or more interesting vocabulary.
