We have P.E. inside on Mondays and outside on Thursdays. Please make sure your child comes dressed appropriately for both.

Term 1
In our first term of Primary 7, our first event will be our MacMillan Coffee Morning at the end of September. In Health and Wellbeing, we will be learning about harmful substances and their impact on our health. In Literacy, we are working on using paragraphs and a variety of punctuation in our writing. In Numeracy and Maths, we are working on place value, decimal numbers and shape.
Term 2
This term, Primary 7 will be working on writing mystery stories inspired by The Manor House from the ‘Talk for Writing’ programme. We are reading Boy, Everywhere and are learning about its themes through our novel work and our topic, Global Inequalities. In numeracy, we are working on addition and subtraction, as well as money and budgeting. We will also be learning about culture and language through the Discovering the World of Arabic programme. In health and wellbeing, we will be continuing to learn about the effects of harmful substances on the body through the Choices for Life stories. In P.E., we will be working on our skills in pickleball and tag rugby.
