General Information
We have P.E. outside on Tuesdays and inside on Thursdays. Please make sure your child comes dressed appropriately for both. Please practise phonics sounds and reading with your child at home and make sure they bring their word tin and reading book to school every day.

Term 1
Welcome to our first term at Dalintober Primary School! This term, we will be learning our initial sounds, learning three new sounds each week, with some consolidation every third week. We will be listening to and discussing stories and using the ‘Foundations of Writing’ programme to share personal experiences and develop fine motor skills and pencil control. In numeracy, we will be focusing on number to 10 – counting on and back, ordering, before and after and number formation. Our topic will be ‘This is Me’ which will help us learn about all the things that make us special and how to look after our bodies and make healthy choices.
